The Inamojo Team
We hope we will become valued friends of yours, sharing a passion for fostering children's wellbeing. Team inamojo comprises:
FOUNDING PARTNER / CREATIVE DIRECTOR
In 1998, Natalie created Chakradance™, the internationally acclaimed healing modality for adults, combining her training in dance, psychology and chakra healing. Ever since, she has dreamed about a version of Chakradance for young children, but it was only when teaming up with Anna in 2013 that the dream started to become the reality that is now inamojo.
Natalie works closely with Anna on the stories, and with Dale on the music, adding her deep understanding of, and sensitivity to, the chakra system that underpins all elements of inamojo.
FOUNDING PARTNER / CHIEF STORYWEAVER
Anna brings over 16 years of combined experience as a yoga teacher and holistic therapist. And for many years Anna has taught yoga and wellbeing to children in schools, kindergartens and in her yoga school.
Combining her passion for working with children with her imaginative flair for creative writing, Anna not only writes and co-produces programs offered by inamojo but plays an active role in delivering programs in schools.
FOUNDING PARTNER / GENERAL MANAGER
Paul is Natalie's husband, and had a successful 35-year career in marketing, advertising and design before teaming up with Natalie to help manage the growth of Chakradance and the birth of inamojo.
Paul works closely with Anna and Natalie in looking after inamojo as a business, with a specific focus on facilitator-recruitment and marketing to schools and other educational institutions.
COMPOSER / MUSICIAN
The multi-talented Dale Nougher works with Natalie to create all the wonderfully chakra-resonant music for both Chakradance and inamojo
A platinum-selling recording artist, pianist, composer, arranger and performer, Dale's background also includes the visual arts, theatre, and live improvisation.
Dale wishes he were young enough to participate in inamojo classes himself.
FACILITATOR SUPPORT / SCHOOLS LIAISON
With a background in schools administration in Australia, Jenny works tirelessly to help and support our growing tribe of inamojo trainees, facilitators, schools, and teachers.
With her limitless patience, wisdom, creative flair, attention to detail and love of people, it is difficult to pin down exactly what Jenny does. Basically, she does everything that needs doing, solving problems for all of us - often before they even arise!
Many other people have contributed expertise and advice in the process of developing inamojo.
In particular, we are grateful for the expert consultancy services provided by Sharryn Clarke, lecturer in Early Childhood Development at Monash University (Melbourne and Singapore), and Principal Early Years Consultant at SNC Educational Innovations.
